_____ 12. Create an outline that shows the build-up to WWI and the spark that started the war. (15 points) 

_____ 13. Dress up like a leader from the WWI era and provide a 1 minute speech about who you are, where you are from, what happened to your country during WWI, and how the results of the war and the peace making process affected your country. (30 points) 

_____ 14. Write a script for WWE that is an analogy for WWI.  Include an explanation of who represents what, how the conflict might build, etc. (Maybe compare it to a Royal Rumble?!) (30 points)

_____ 16. Create a 4 page newspaper about the results of and the peace process of WWI.  It must have articles, an advertisement, and at least 2 original pictures (you draw them). (30 points) 

____ 17. Watch a movie w/ a setting in WWI.  What did the movie include from the era that you know is true.  What was offered by the movie that was historically incorrect? Prepare to discuss with the teacher. (20 points)

Achieving peace: You are a representative of an Ally country sitting at the peace treaty meetings to end WWI.  What kinds of steps would you take to achieve peace?  What would you do similar or do different in comparison and contrasting from what was actually done?  Provide evidence and information from what you learned in this unit.  (This is essay format) NN 

_____ 19. Causes for war – compare and contrast the reasons countries go to war today.  Has the world learned its lesson from past experiences with this?  Why/why not?  (Provide evidence!) NN 

_____ 20. Besides the war the United States is currently fighting in the Middle East – analyze (show arguments for each side) one other war that happening today.  Summarize (paragraph explaining a larger collection of thoughts) of which side you would take and why. NN 

_____ 21. Compare and contrast the roles of women in warfare from WWI era and today’s roles of women in war.  Utilize examples from not only the United States, but examples from other countries (more than 1) as well. NN
