Coupons from local flyers
Objectives:
· Identify – penny, nickel, dime, quarter and half dollar
· Know the value of each coin
· Understand and utilize the dollar more strategy
C Level
Each choice will be graded based on Mastery, Near Mastery, or No Mastery
· Complete money matching worksheet
· Work with an aid or peer tutor with coin tray, name each coin shown (use native language or alternative speech method)
· Play money bingo with classmates, peer tutors, or aids
· Do TEAACH box matching coins to pictures on flashcards write down value shown
· Do TEAACH box paste coins that represent the amount shown on coupon
· Paint red dots on coins, 1 red dot on a nickel, 2 red dots on a dime, 5 red dots on a quarter. Practice counting different combinations of coins with a classmate, peer tutor, or an aid
· Trace or color over various coins and label them with their name on one side and their value on the other
· Using sign language state the name of the coin shown by either peer tutor or aid
· Arrange groups of coins in order of greatest to smallest

· Arrange a group of grocery store coupons in order from least expensive to most expensive
