Day 11- All assignments due
____
*1. Perform the cell lab and complete the lab
questions.
LAYER A- CRITICAL THINKING & ANALYSIS OF REAL WORLD ISSUES (15 points)
Options 1 and 2 can be done with a partner and no sources needed (this unit only)!
____ 1. Make a 3D model of a plant and animal cell using whatever materials you want to represent the organelles. Use objects such as a foam ball, candy, Jello, erasers, etc to display your knowledge of cells. Label all of the parts and attach a key explain the name and function of each organelle. You will have to supply most of the objects you use.
____ 2. Use an analogy to relate the parts of the cell to something else (city, school, human body, factory, car). Make a poster of your analogy for both plant and animal cells. Be creative!
____
3. Find two current event articles related to cells, summarize
them, and give your opinion on the questions raised.
