_____ ECONOMICS LINK—The euro (symbol €) is the currency of Spain (and many other countries in the European Union).  Create a budget for a one-week vacation to Madrid.  Be specific!  Show all of your calculations in euros and dollars.  Your final product should be created using an Excel spreadsheet or in a table format in a word processor AND MUST BE COMPLETELY in Spanish.  In addition to your chart, write a paragraph of at least 10 sentences explaining what you plan to do on your trip.

_____ ART & GEOGRAPHY LINK—El Greco (real name Doménikos Theotokópoulos) was the most famous painter from the city of Toledo.  Locate 5 museums IN SPAIN where you can find his work and show them on a map.  Choose one of El Greco’s paintings (housed in Spain) and write an 8-sentence description of what you see in the painting.  Be sure to use ser and estar correctly in your description.  Email or hand in the map, the painting and your sentences as a Word document.
