Choose three activities.  You must choose an A, a B, and a C.  Bs and Cs are individual activities.  A is a partner activity.  These can be worked on in any order.  I would suggest starting with A because they are in pairs and can be done in class.  This will require you to work outside of class

C– 3-5

B – 3-9

A - 3-11

Summarize the respiration notes.

Make a collage that represents the parts and functions of the respiratory system.

Draw and label the parts of the respiratory system.

Make a PowerPoint presentation that explains and illustrates the parts and functions of the respiratory system.  (Be creative!  Add some videos or something exciting here…do more than just present the facts.)  Make sure to include: nose, lungs, diaphragm, nasal cavity, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi, bronchioles

Make a picture dictionary using nose, lungs, diaphragm, nasal cavity, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi, and bronchioles. Make sure it is clear what the words mean and what the part does.

Make a crossword puzzle that uses the following words: nose, lungs, diaphragm, nasal cavity, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi, bronchioles

Draw a cartoon that illustrates the parts and functions of the respiratory system.

Free Activity Space

Do some type of activity, song, rap, poem, PowerPoint, or something that the teacher has approved that will illustrate the parts and functions of the respiratory system

Complete a travel log for an oxygen molecule in the respiratory system.  Make sure to include the parts and the function of the parts that it travels through.

 
 

Points Available:

C – up to 20 points

B – up to 30 points

A – up to 50 points

Each is a separate grade.  Cs and Bs are daily grades, As are test grades.
