  1. Write a news report about the building the great pyramids from the perspective of the workers, foremen, or pharaohs.  You will write from the perspective of two different people, therefore, you will have two different reports.  Include at least three facts from each side.  All work must be in your own words; double-spaced; 12 point font; 1 inch margins.

  1. In teams of 3, research the mummification process and create a life-size sarcophagus.  See teacher for example and requirements.  On the back of your sarcophagus you must include ten facts about the mummification process.

Using the TV viewing station, watch the video on Ancient Egypt.  You MUST take notes while viewing the video.  Then write a five-paragraph report summarizing this ancient civilization.  You may add facts to your report that you learned from the textbook and other sources.  All work must be in your own words; double-spaced; 12 point font; 1 inch margins.
