Forge". what are the similarities and differences. Write up an artistic evaluation

of both of the paintings and as the art critic give you opinion on which one is the

most historically accurate.

4. Create a children's picture book of the 8 most important events in the American

Revolution

5. Research one of the battle of the American Revolution and then create a diorama of the

battle. Be sure to include the historical facts about the battle in your diorama

1. Compare the 2 paintings "Washington Crossing the Delaware" and "Prayer at Valley

Forge". Look for similarities, differences and information on the painters.

2. Create a political game board. Using the events from 1776. The purpose of the game

is to reach Yorktown by correctly answering questions about the revolution.

3. Research a battle of the American Revolution. Imagine you have arrived after the

battle. Use all the senses to describe your emotions in a poem. Use your research

about the battle as a basis for the poem.

4. Research the role of women in the American Revolution. Choose one and make a

videotape of her telling about her contributions.

5. Read the poem by H.W. Longfellow, "The Ride of Paul Revere". Rewrite the poem in

an up to date manner.
