Curriculum Trainer, Peggy Childs

Peggy is a true Layered Curriculum advocate.
She taught on a middle school level for ten years as a resource
teacher and co-taught many regular education classes. Her
experiences with struggling students gave her an appreciation
for Layered Curriculum the first time she used it. For two
years she worked as an Inclusion Specialist promoting Layered
Curriculum for all regular and special educators in her district.
Currently,
Peggy works as a Professional Development Coordinator in Washington
County School District in Southern Utah, coordinating training
for teachers and schools at all levels. She has presented
at universities, conferences and workshops, and study groups
promoting the use of Layered Curriculum.
