Babe Willey (Ruth, actually) is a newly retired
high school science teacher and department head from Fremont,
Ohio. She was also a trainer for Science Olympiad at the Hammond,
Indiana Coaches Clinic for 6 years. She was co-event director
for Designer Genes at the National Science Olympiad in Columbus,
Ohio. She has extensive experience in using Layered Curriculum
at the high school level, particularly in biology and environmental
science.
As an adjunct faculty at Terra Community College, she plans
on using Layered Curriculum at the college level as well.
Babe is currently Chairman of Professional Development for
SECO, the state level NSTA and an OSCI Life Science Trainer
for the State Department of Education. She is available for
full day workshops, after-school presentations and for follow-up
support.
