Angela
is a middle school teacher in Pinckney, MI and specializes
in math, social studies, science and gifted and talented education.
She and Katie Golin team up for Layered Curriculum® workshops
and support.
Layered
Curriculum® has provided a great organizational structure
for Angela that motivates her to learn as a teacher and her
students to excel in learning. She believes that when you
find a great tool, you share it! Angela is able to assess
students more effectively throughout each Layered Curriculum®
unit and enjoys the active engagement of learning in the classroom!
Angela has an open-door classroom philosophy knowing that
showing a Layered Curriculum® unit and allowing other teachers
to experience the dynamics of the Layered Curriculum® classroom
will demonstrate that active learners not only take ownership
of their learning, they enjoy the process along the way!
Angela
has a Bachelors degree from Eastern Michigan University in
K-8 Education in mathematics and science, and a Mastersin
Teaching and Learning from Nova Southeastern University in
Florida.
