Layered
Curriculum Trainer, Linda Pont
Read Linda's article comparing Layered
Curriculum™ to Collaborative Learning, Problem-Based Learning, and
Differentiated Instruction.
I became a "Kathie Nunley groupee" after attending one of her two-day
workshops. I took her ideas back to my classroom and experienced
wonderful changes in student attitudes and classroom atmosphere. I have
taught all levels of High School English for 17 years. I am presently a
re-invigorated teacher of Junior English at Kewanee High School in
Kewanee, Illinois.
Because
of my positive experiences with Layered Curriculum I am continuing my
studies by pursuing a Masters Degree in Curriculum Development. I was
sent by my school district to get further training in Layered
Curriculum and am presently working with all grade and subject levels
through workshops and follow-up support for my district. I love sharing
this wonderful teaching method with other teachers!
I am
available for conference breakouts, half-day, full day, two day
workshops, and follow-up support.
