Layered Curriculum®
Trainer,
Heather Clayton
Heather Clayton
is the Director of Learning at St Michael's University School
in British Columbia. She has taught grades 7 -12 and has also
taught at Community College.
In
2000, Heather spent a year in Australia and was a Special Ed
consultant during that time. Recently, she has coordinated a project
for grade 7 & 8 teachers, where 8 teachers have written strategies
for the delivery of curriculum, based on Layered Curriculum and
Brain research, and also incorporated multiple intelligences and
learning styles. This has grown into a pilot throughout her
Board.
Heather has
spoke at conferences and provided workshops for both secondary
and elementary teachers. She has been thrilled at how Layered
Curriculum® helps classroom teachers with inclusion and
with great programs for the diversity of learning needs in
today's classrooms.
